In the beautiful Tuscan countryside, the cultural Association Arezzo Città di Vasari organized an evening at Ca de Frati, where my book A Year in Tuscany was presented. A delicious dinner of typical Tuscan dishes followed, which created a link between the significance of the uniqueness and history of this enchanting place. I waited with great enthusiasm to meet the Aretines, to whom I have devoted a chapter
My Watercolours in Arezzo, from which Carmela Sutera Sardo read an excerpt. The evening was also attended by the Sienese journalist, Michelle Taddei, who spoke of my narrative in a most flattering way. A warm thank you to the cultural organizers, Giulia Ambrosio and Marta Sanarelli, who endeared me even more to this city, rich in tradition and culture, and to Pino Invernizzi, who hosted me at Ca de Frati, a charming residence on the outskirts of Arezzo, where I sojourned so pleasantly.
